I am of the opinion that ALL beer tastes better when you pour it. I believe it’s a similar thing to wine, where mixing with the air helps bring out the flavor. And you don’t get all those glug-glugs when you drink it.

I second this.

Since visiting NOLA and getting a taste for Creole/Cajun cuisine, when my wife and I seek it out or make it, Abita Amber has to be involved. Zapps are a bonus, when available.
